Hydro-Technologies | Patrick Martens

Hydro-Technologies, Inc. specializes in the removal of deteriorated concrete on reinforced concrete structures, by utilizing a robotic process that features high pressure waterjets. In particular, Hydro-Tech excels at the "fast track" process of surface preparation for bridge decks by selectively removing the deteriorated or weakened concrete from the top of the deck surface, leaving as much of the sound concrete as possible. The removal also results in a very roughened surface profile upon which a latex modified concrete can be placed and grab to. The overlay is a structural dense concrete that can provide upwards of 25+ years of life, while also protecting the original deck.
